1. Eat high fiber things Eat

more fiber things than eating sugary things. Nikita Kapoor tells that to reduce high cholesterol, fiber-rich things should be eaten. If you want, you can consume oats, oatmeal, in which beta-glucan and fiber are found in plenty.

2. Brown rice instead of white rice

To reduce cholesterol, emphasis should be on eating whole grains. Those people who eat white rice should eat brown rice instead of white rice to reduce bad cholesterol. Also, include nutritious grains like barley or quinoa in the diet.

3. Plant Based Foods

Nikita Kapoor advised that people with high cholesterol should consume more plant-based foods. In plant-based things, they can consume beans, spinach, peas, tofu etc. Eating black beans also lowers cholesterol and provides adequate nutrition.

4. Omega-3 Capsules Instead of Fish

Fish is high in omega-3 fatty acids. Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids help reduce bad cholesterol. Now if you want, you can consume fish or if you do not eat fish then you can take fish oil capsules. You can also consume nuts and seeds such as hemp seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.

5. Peanut Butter

Many research shows peanut butter to be bad, but according to Nikita Kapoor, cholesterol can be reduced by consuming peanut butter. But do consult your doctor before consuming. Also, take special care that the peanut butter is unsalted.
